Kabuto

This one took a long time to do... I think about three days. Most of that time was spent on the background.

I drew this picture on the first go and I really liked it. I wanted it to have a great background so that the image I drew wouldn't be lost on a boring background consisting only of sky. I was frustrated after some time too. I didn't have any actual movement that could really go in the picture, so I'd have to use imaginative scenery for the background. So, in search of inspiration, I went and looked at backgrounds and scenery. I hate making leaves, but in Photoshop I managed to work out what would probably have been a big pain to do in opencanvas.

Once again I used both opencanvas and photoshop. I find that both have things the other lack and in order to make up for that, I tend to switch. I prefer photoshops layer options and wide range of brushes, but I also prefer opencanvas's blur tool and airbrush/watercolor/paintbrush which gives a smooth look.

I played around with this one a little, but I think it came out well. I hope you like it, zirofax!
